Shammi Kapoor is apparently an ardent fan of Deepika Padukone. Being an avid blogger, he blogged praising Deepika’s acting skills in ‘Om Shanthi Om‘ and ‘Love Aaj Kal‘. To acknowledge his praiseworthy comments, Deepika rang his door bell!

Sources say she was there for a cup of coffee and then the conversation continued till dinner. She was melted by the hospitality offered to her and was flattered when Shammi Kapoor himself told he liked her acting and was her ardent fan.

When a few scribes approached her, she kept mum about the meeting, telling it was personal and they had discussed about ‘Shammiji’s ‘ experiences.
