Guess which was debutante Deepika Padukone’s easiest ‘shot’ whilst shooting for ‘Om Shanti Om’? Well, it was the scene, which had her playing badminton with co-actor Shah Rukh Khan.

Director Farah Khan says, “It’s a song sequence, which is a tribute to the Leena Chandavarkar-Jeetendra number ‘Dhal gaya din’ in the yesteryear hit ‘Humjoli’.”

But did Deepika, (daughter of former badminton champion Prakash Padukone and an excellent player herself) prove one-up to the Khan, who is a soccer, cricket and now hockey enthusiast?

Farah laughs, “Of course Deepika was excellent in those shots because badminton runs in her blood. But Shah Rukh too got the shot ‘okayed’ in one take because he was so embarrassed with his tight-fitting white pants and T-shirt. It was funny but the crew cheered him on to play more,” says Farah.

Who’s Deepika‘s choice?

The angles to love just don’t seem to have an end in tinsel town. After her alleged linkup with Indian Skipper Dhoni, Deepika Padukone and the dashing Yuvraj Singh have got tongues wagging. So who’s Deepika’s choice. Certainly Deepika likes to keep us guessing.

We’ve barely caught our breath over the whole Saif -Kareena Shahid traingle and it looks like there could be another three sided love affair under our very noses. While much ado has been made of the brewing romance between Dhoni and Deepika, it looks like Deepika likes to keep us guessing and was spotted with none other than the dashing Yuvraj Singh on Saturday night (October 27) at 3 a.m.!!

It looks like those free tickets to the Twenty20 match didn’t achieve the desired effect but maybe we’re getting ahead of ourselves. It could have just been a friendly rendezvous and the Badhshah of Bollywod seems everready to point out that all these rumours are not Deepika’s doing. “It’s the boys spreading all these rumours,” he says.

That’s a verdict from the third umpire — King Khan is certainly trying his level best to play mother hen to the beautiful lasse and we dont blame him. After all Deepika’s one delivery seems to have bowled over quite a few in one fell swoop.
