Mr. Prakash Jha is very particular about the looks of Actors in his movie.

Deepika Padukone was seen with absolutely no make-up during the shooting of “Aarakshan”. She was spotted in an ordinary salwar-kameez, which reminds of middle class simple look girl.

Deepika walked the streets of Bhopal as just another face in the crowd. A source from Bhopal stated “It was a long sequence in artificial rain, where Deepika confronts Saif.”

The director of the film Jha stated “This is not the first time that Deepika has surprised me with her emotional intensity in Aarakshan.”

Jha said further, “She is tapping into areas of her emotional reservoir that she has never touched before. That’s why the intensity.”
